Dog eating grass

Does anyone have any ideas, why my 11 month old dog, insists on eating grass to make himself sick. He is up to date with his worming and is fed twice a day on a good quality dried food and appears to be in the best of health. all suggestions welcome

I can't tell you why but my dogs eat grass all the time, but are never sick. But then they do say labs are greedy

Some dogs just do it to keep themselves in the best of health - not sure why - my lurcher does it all the time, although he is never sick

It is perfectly natural, I wouldn't worry about it, as long as the sick (sorry to be graphic

) is just white froth with the grass in it. Anything other than that might need some investigation?

Grass is very good for dogs, its natural for them to eat it, mine it every day but they don't throw up on it.

If you google this there is loads of info. on it. It is perfectly normal.

Daisy May does this all the time she grazes the garden just like Daisy the cow!! Never throws up either, she is 2 and has done this since she was a pup.

Mine does it and doesn't throw up but it does make his poo a little 'stringy'!!!!

My dog used to do it when he was in pain from an arthritic hip. Now that has been fixed, he still eats grass but less often. Usually does it shortly before getting into my car - where he then throws up!
