English Kennel Club has urged member clubs to cancel everything until end June, Irish KC 'until further notice', the big St Patrick's Day events were cancelled.

In my own breed, SV in Germany has cancelled all events until end April, main clubs in Belgium and Netherlands also, Belgians have cancelled all club training.
Big event in USA also scrapped today.

The world working championships for Doberman, Belgian Shepherd and Dutch Herders all cancelled, and the all breed tracking championship in Finland.

I am so disappointed - little dog is 18 months old last day of March, the Easter weekend was going to be his KC agility debut, on our home turf. Training has been suspended until further notice. All the breed shows have cancelled.

*drums fingers* What am I going to do at weekends?! :p

Everything is cancelled here too. I'm off from work on Tuesdays so I can do my agility classes and they've been cancelled too. I'll train what I can at home and go tracking which I can do with one buddy, keeping our 2 meter distance or by myself.

We should have been at a little agility show this weekend but it is cancelled and our dog club has shut for a month now. Going to be a very boring summer I think. Thank goodness we have the sheep and my sister's ponies as well as the dogs to keep us occupied. I might even get on top of the housework and the garden for once. Something to be said for having to self isolate I guess.

Here as well.. states and nationals will be cancelled too, our nats are only biannual and we haven't had one in this state in 10 years :( :(
Heart dog has massive OA in L hock and have been doing everything to keep her sound, she won't be running next year, this would have been the last :(
Her and her daughter made the state team, as well as being defending games champion. Very sad about it :(

All flyball cancelled too and decision made to stop training. Selfishly rather gutted as last week Miss Collie managed to go up and down the lane with another dog also in it for first time.
Agility comps cancelling left, right and centre. My agility outdoor training is going ahead for now but not sure about obedience training which has reminded me, I need to call and find out!

WELKS, Birmingham National and Three Counties all now cancelled as well as National terrier and UK toy. Fosse data and Higham press are listing breed shows that are cancelled or postponed. Agility, working trials and obedience shows being cancelled too

All the cavalier breed shows are cancelled, my mum is twiddling her thumbs for things to do now!

Why is it that this has to happen just as I decide I have a show dog lol? So inconvenient!

Just a dog show question, does anyone know if I can challenge for the CC if I win the open racing/coursing class at a championship show? I can’t find it written down anywhere!

I assume my registration as an ex racer doesn’t allow me to enter breed classes, but again the KC are shockingly bad at actually putting that in writing on their website....

I assumed that it does, if you're doing form 9 the result I think is 'proper' KC breed register status, same as when applying for an ISDS registered border collie. But yes, it's clear as mud from their regulations!

'Special' has such varying classifications in the dog show world I think I'd want the answer in writing from the KC so you're ready to argue the toss with the steward when they get it wrong

Yes I am using the same form as ISDS registration- they helpfully admitted that this was what I should use and ‘adapt’ as needed ? so I’ve sent it off with copies of his EU pet passport and the Irish Coursing Club online records which is all I have!

I shall seek clarification from the registration department... not that they had a clue when I enquired bless them ??

We're all cancelled and looking at home we can train as we've got many dogs (mine included) who won't cope with the walks available locally (I've got no where safe to left the knobukipet off lead and even with brain games he trashes my house without a run a few times a week).
At the moment agility training is still on but with strict rules in place but I'm expecting that to be cancelled soon.

I'm auditing an on-line agility class in training 2 on 2 off for my young dog. I'm off today so met a friend, staying 6 feet away, to train variable surface tracks.

FCI IGP World Champs postponed until next year. WUSV Universal Sieger in France has been put off til November, expecting a statement about the breed Siegerschau and IGP World Champs by end of next month at the latest. Feel sorry for people with older dogs who probably will be done by 2021, but there's more important things at stake right now. The Belgian shepherd Worlds have been moved to August at least with a final decision due mid May.
As has been pointed out by the FCI, people aren't able to train, qualification trials need to take place. people will be travelling from all over, countries all have different restrictions and it will just get too messy. There will be a massive bottlenecking of events and everyone will be looking for the same dates and judges for all sorts of sports, this would pose a big risk in itself.
