Our 6 month old labrador puppy has drunk lots of water tonight and is blown out.

Wondered what the possible reasons for it could be?

He has not eaten anything to our knowledge and has been indroos most of the day.

Any suggestions welcome.

We will keep an eye on him all night

He seems bright enough n himself.

not not at all its been very cool here.

As i say he has been insde in the cool all afternoon.

he hs drink two water bowls full and is still thirsty...he has completely balooned.

As i say he seems bright enough and healthy apart from that- just thought it was very wierd???

We will keep an eye on him over night but if anyone has any suggestions that would be good.

I would measure the amount he is drinking just incase u do need to take him to the vets to give the vet a better indication.
Have u changed his diet recently?
He is young so would not initially worry about and underlying health problem, but certainly would not rule it out if the excessive water drinking carries on.
My mams husky started drinking excessivly at 4 months and he turned out to be diabetic.....not that Im trying to worry u....some days they do just like to worry us by doing thing out of the ordinary when there is nowt wrong

he does seem much much better today, so we will keep an eye on him.

His food has not changed, the only different thing is he is on antibiotics for a sore tooth but in saying that he has been on them a while now....
