DOG FOUND

A FRIEND HAS FOUND A DOG THAT WAS RUNNING ALONG THE A38 NEAR THORNBURY BRISTOL. IF ANYONE KNOWS OR HEAR'S ANYTHING PLEASE PM ME.

Has she checked on Doglost to see if he/she has been registered as lost?

Could she take it to a local vet to see if it is microchipped?

yes she is taking it to the vets to check for chip, she was on her way to work, she managed to catch it and its spent the morning in her car, bless

Just to update you .. she is a beagle and I have just been to the vets and she is sadly not Microchipped and they dont recognise her as being a local dog ... they are phoning other vets in the area too

OP has your friend phoned the RSPCA? Years ago when our young Lab went missing we registered her missing with them and all the local police stations around (We actually found her within two hours sitting with some lads fishing they said just as they were getting their sandwiches out she was passing and ate them all and they were starving.

6 months later the Rspca rang to say they had a dog fitting her discription I never informed them she'd been found As we'd found her it never crossed my mind that any yellow lab bitch they would think would be her.

So give them a call the owner may have registered her and the police

would be worth contacting the beagle club too even if they don't know they might be able to foster or help rehome, they do have a habit of bogging off.
