Does anyone know of any dog-friendly accommodation within a 20 minute drive of Kings Forest, Thetford? It needs to be for two or three nights over the last weekend of February for one, maybe two adults and two dogs. I'd prefer a basic log cabin/camping pod type thing rather than a B&B as the dogs need to be able to come in overnight.

Budget is extremely limited!

Following a brilliant weekend's racing (third place of, um, three :p ) we'd like to have a run at the national championships but I've never been to Norfolk before and it's a bit of a trek for us, could do with a proper base rather than camping as usual.

Does the forestry commission have log cabins in the forest? The Elvedon Inn says it's dog friendly. BHS approved Forest Lodge Holiday log cabins and mobile homes in Thetford Forest.

Forest Lodge Holidays don't allow dogs in the cabin. :( No Forestry Commission or Forest Holiday type sites, all I can seem to find is slightly odd looking private cabins at the bottom of people's gardens which for £180 seems a bit steep.

We were spoilt for choice for cottages this past weekend in the Forest of Dean, there just doesn't seem to be an equivalent in Norfolk!

There's a place called little lodge in Brandon which lets dogs stay in their own caravan next to your lodge, not sure if that's any good for you....

Their website is forestlodgeholidays.co.uk, you may have already looked at them so it may be what you've already looked at :(
