Can anyone recommend any cottages/websites for cottages for 2adults and 2dogs in Scotland (for the end of the year)?

Having just booked our October holiday (plus dog) I can tell you that after extensive research these are some good sites to go for. Have fun, there are so many dog friendly places in Scotland to choose from.

These guys were fabulous, they were booked up for an international sled dog event and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, even with a few dozen dogs staked out on their lovely lawn.

What kind of holiday are you looking for? I own a dog friendly (dogs go free) in Glen Etive near Glencoe. It is a brilliant area for walking - with a number of Munros direct from the door as well as lower level river and forest walks nearby. Thankfully for me, it is a very popular cottage and so I only have eleven days left free for the whole of this year (in December).

There is also Carmichael Cottages near Lanark. A good selection of cottages on the Carmichael Estate I've about 5 times to 2 different cottages and it's been a good holiday. Some of the cottages are a bit off the beaten track as it's a big estate but you can also get them near the main roads.

Try the Dogs Trust. They do holiday cottages and a % of the fee goes to them so well worth while. I've been to a couple of their places and both were dog friendly and great

Take a look at the landmark trust website lots of them are dog friendly and they are all great fun .
