Dog friendly hotels in Scotland

OH and I are planning a wee overnight stay in the next couple of weeks and want to the dog with us.

We're looking for somewhere with a beach/loch and lots of nice quite walks for the dog and a somewhere nice to get some food.

Currently looking into Arran but the ferry journey is almost as expensive as a night in a hotel!

Happy to stay in a caravan, lodge or hotel as we'll not be spending much time in it!

Any suggestions?

Loch Lomond approx half hour drive away. Fab off lead walks nearby with no livestock to worry about.

Woodland Bay Hotel in Girvan. Hotel is on a working farm (complete with excellent restaurant and farm shop) just across from the beach with views of Arran and Paddy's Milestone. Also horse friendly
