Dog Groomers..

How do you get into it?
I looked into an apprenticeship but there is none near me, and the nearest learning centre place is about 3 hours away (as far as I'm aware). There's a college about half hour away but the course only last 12 days so not sure through it will be. I'm in the Cleveland/Durham area is anyone knows and training places or an apprenticeship.
I don't really want to do an online course.. it's something you need practical experience of. I think so anyway


I'm going to try and get a weeks work experience first, to see if I like it

I always said I wanted to work with dogs, but decided to go to uni and do something acedemic but I reallllllly want to do this

Have a look in Dog World, there are lots of courses being offered, you will have to pay to do them and most are for a month, the course I did many years ago was done at a working salon so we had about 4-6 dogs aday to practice on
