What route did you take to becoming a dog groomer? I have read no qualifications are necessary. I've also seen a 20 day course is £4800!!

I did the level 3 diploma, 25 day course with 3 timed grooming assessments and a portfolio of grooming to breed standard of 15 breeds.
This was back in 2019 and it cost me about £3.5k so I’d say your pricing is about right.

It also included canine first aid training and TTtouch training. Which area of the country are you? Feel free to message me.
I also was involved with running a college where we dealt with the newly created dog grooming apprenticeship (level 2) and I built a course to cover the standards from scratch so I have a pretty decent knowledge of that area too.
