Big dog (great dane cross) has stood up and eaten all the left over take away curry left on the kitchen worktop. Is there anything i can give her to neutralise it? Im not looking forward to the fall out
Oh dear it could get messy! Not sure what you can do to neutralise it maybe give him/her something really bland to help settle his/her tummy like a bit of scrambled egg or chicken on its own rather than normal dog food until the curry has passed! Good luck!
We used to have an Anatolian Shepherd Dog and she adored curry, the hotter the better.
Never had any problems .......... but the "fallout" very delicately referred to above was definately a bit whiffy. Phew!
I don't know if they still do them anymore, but Neutrogena used to do scented candles which were absolutely fab for clearing up nasty whiffs, plus their air fresheners are the very best thing you can get for em, doggy whiffs IME.
My Danes love curry. I mix a little curry sauce with the old boys food to get his medicine down. He has always farted like a blocked sewer so hard to know if it makes any difference!
good one, stock up on air freshener i think! a chunk of gingerbread might help neutralise things for you. wouldn't worry too much about it though apart from having to think of something else to have for breakfast though
