Such a funny dog, none of our current dogs really enjoy vet visits. I thought after being left and made so sick he'd really not be happy today. He had the terrier shakes in the waiting room but happily trotted off with the nurse to have his blood taken. Came back with a waggy tail and had a treat off the counter. Not at all what I'd expected.
They are happy with him anyway and don't expect the bloods to show anything, in fact it was up to me if they were run or not.
I figured best had just in case. He's over his insurance excess anyway so may as well be safe. Blood tests are expensive!!

Glad to hear that he's doing well, and that the event haven't changed his opinion about vet visits. Totally understand why you chose to do the blood tests just to be on the safe side. This way you, and your daughter, will know for sure, and won't have to worry about any *But what if it still did do some damage...*

I'm glad he seems to be fine and non-traumatised by the vets. The blood tests are definitely worth it for peace of mind.

Blood results are clear as regards the rat poison and calcium levels.
I was driving when they rang and had a terrible signal. There is something a bit off but I really couldn’t catch what but did hear that it’s nothing he’s (the vet) worried about.

He also has slightly high cholesterol which he thought diet related and again wasn’t too concerned.
I am a bit though! That may be another thread, maybe some nutritional ideas. I thought his food was pretty good
