Dog hates getting in the Car - Tips?

Hi All! I have two 7 month old FCR puppies who are amazing in all ways. We are having a problem that one just absolutely hates getting in the car (the other loves it). He was more carsick when he was younger but it doesn't seem to have bothered him in a long time. We have tried to make it all a very good experience for him but whenever we go near the car he backs away/wont go near it/has to be carried into it. Once he is in he seems alright actually and is quite relaxed. Hi isn't in a mad rush to get out either but once he is out he wants to get away from the car ASAP. Any tips to get him to enjoy the car more? I keep hoping this is something he will just grow out of. TIA

Use the car as a training tool. Feed in the car and do stays in the car all with the back open. Then do sendaways into the car, knowing that there is a bikkie in there helps. Aim to do all this before having to travel again if possible.

Feed him in there. All the time, every day.
A covered crate or box might also help.
I'd also rule out a pain response but depending on size I'd be expecting a puppy or an old dog to be assisted into the car anyway to protect the joints.
