Dog hurt his leg ? Help?!

OH's dog was limping a little on his left hind leg Sunday, but it was only slight and he was ok after he'd eaten, yesterday OH took him for a walk to see how he was and if he was just stiff (he's a 10yo staffy) and he said he was ok but limping a little towards the end.

Today he is not even putting any weight on that leg but there is no visible injury, have felt his foot and down his leg, nothing there.

What might it be?

OH is going to take him to vets tomorrow morning

and i bet he'll have to foot the bill despite said dog being the family dog, and there being 5 of them in the family.

maybe he has a thorn in his pad

Definitely check his pad and between his toes, my old dog would often do that and Id find a little thorn or twig caught up in his toes.

He may of just pulled something? or maybe its slight arthritis? Think your right about taking him to the vets tho, just to make sure all is well!!
