Dog in hospital and feel like a part of me is missing!

Don't usually post in here (or that much anywhere!) but am feeling truly miserable as my lovely little dog is very poorly and currently at the veterinary hospital. Not 100% sure of diagnosis; may be pancreatitis or could just be severe gastroentiritis. Last night she was passing blood instead of poo - was extremely traumatic. Second night without her at home and although I am grateful for the great care she is getting I feel utterly lost as she goes everywhere with me every day (including work) and I love her dearly.

Healing vibes requested from anyone who might send them for my lovely Lexi!

Thank you all for your lovely kind words. News overnight is good - she has eaten for the first time and the latest scan shows that the area of her intestine that is inflamed and gassy is getting smaller. Vet said that she is not out of the woods but everything is looking like it is moving in the right direction. Plus I can visit her later on today with some more chicken (which is the only thing she will eat!). Everything crossed - it sounds like she is going to make it - hurrah : ))))

Hi, I went through the same thing last week. BrandySnap had pancreatitis and spent 4 days at the vet. I thought we were going to lose her, but thankfully she pulled through. She comes everywhere with me too, she's like a little soulmate and missed her so much!
