Hello! I've got a quote for the two dogs from Leisure Guard (part of e&l?) lifetime cover total £29.56/month. This includes promotional discounts. Or 12months cover £24.02. Vets fees up to £4k per condition for either policy.

I also got direct line quote for lifetime but with £8k vets fees per condition£41.59 or £26.43 for 12 months cover £4k vets fees.

Dogs are 5 and 6 yrs. I'm leaning towards DL as I was with them years ago in car insurance and they were great. Never heard of Leisure Guard so it worries me. But I think I could only afford the 12 month cover in that case. Wwyd?

if anyone has any thoughts/recommendations do let me know! Thanks in advance :)

Do not touch an E&L subsidiary with a million foot barge pole.

Direct Line are fine, I've got one insured with them - just be aware that it's not a true 'lifetime' policy in that the vet fee cap doesn't renew every year, it's an 8k max lifetime limit.

Thanks so much for the reply, Good to hear you have a positive experience withDL. I will have to do it at the end of the month when i get paid so if any more comments please feel free :)
