I am looking to get my dogs insured, can anybody recommend any good companies?

My vets recommend Petplan. £12.72 a month for my lurcher. I have read it can be more for a pedigree dog.

My Alaskan Malamute is insured by Virgin money - OH works for them so we get a discount on Virgin products which is the reason we took it. Dog has just had over £2000 worth of scans, xrays, surgery, pain meds and antibiotics and they have paid out quickly and no arguments. I paid £15 a month for him, just got renewal in and its gone up to £16.50

In the UK? Idk ... In the US there's United Pet Care or Pet Assure, alternatives to pet insurance. Look around! Good luck!
