Dog Jabs - advice needed

Hi, We've just had our 9 week (nearly 10 week) old pup vaccinated (2nd lot) and the vet said i will have to wait a week before he can go for a walk...This is fine, however i was at the yard tonight and one of my friends said her vet told her 2 weeks before her dog could go for a walk and a hubby works with a bloke who has police dog pups and he doesn't wait and takes his dogs for a walk a couple of days after.

I'm inclined to listen to my vet as after all he's the pro but i was wondering what you guys have been told?

Different because adult dog but I was told to walk where you would not see other dogs and avoid interaction.

Listen to your vet, he/she is correct, you can obs still keep pup up in your arms and take it for car journeys but dont let it hit the floor or to many people touch it, so see the world for now is enough for the week

Pickle had her 2nd jab at 11 weeks and she was allowed out a week later

If I remember rightly (though may be wrong!)

It is one week after 2nd jab for mingling with others but 2 weeks before allowed near water (ie streams & such) as the lepto is stronger there???

Something like that anyhow!

But if in doubt ust ring your vet & ask!!
