Dog killed by motorbike......

I saw this on fb and signed and shared, I must admit if this happened to me I would be down the local cop shop having a right strop because to get to that field they had to go on the road and having no tax or Insurance would be liable for prosecution for that if nothing else. I would also be having a word with the landowner as well and hoping to get them on side.

I really feel for the owner and the dog who had been rescued from horrendous circumstances, its just so sad.

This could have been my Daisy who looks almost identical and wears a hi viz coat too. I have had run ins with idiots on bikes over the woods, where they shouldn't be. IF anyone ever did this to my dogs I would go ballistic. Government need to get off their backsides and deal with this scum who ride illegally off road. I have no issues with bikes, am a biker myself and held an ACU licence to ride and race off road at various organised events including Trials and Enduro. If you call the police or wardens (corporation of London) you are met with apathy or nothing at all, no one ever comes out to sort it out or stop them,so the scum continue, this poor woman has that last memory of her beloved dog etched in her memory.

Signed. We sometimes get kids - teenagers - round here riding mopeds on the pedestrian tracks and recreation grounds, they've had a number of near misses with dogs and cyclists. Only a matter of time before they do someone an injury.

Signed. What a beautiful dog, I have tears in my eyes reading about this. I have a problem with people zooming around on trail bikes and quads on the footpaths where I walk, they terrify the life out of me and Holly has to go on her lead as soon as I see them. But they fly around corners and could easily run the pair of us over, I'm always ready to jump into hedges (just hope I'd be quick enough).
