Gorgeous bitch for rehoming, i'm hoping (and praying!) someone can help, or will know someone who can...

Friends of mine, currently have three dogs and a baby on the way. Bella is having to find a new home through no fault of her own :(

Bella's Stats:-

* Spaniel x something/anything/heinz 57.
* Black Bitch
* 3 years old
* House trained but also kennel trained (she's in the house when someone is at home but otherwise outside in kennel)
* NOT neutered
*Brilliant with children
*Brilliant with cats & other dogs

Bella is a rescue, she is currently on her second home - no fault of her own.

She's very bubbly, very bouncy, stands about the height of a spaniel, maybe slightly shorter in the body though. Black rough coat.

Such a shame she's got to find a new home as she's such a friendly, happy go lucky girl, loves cuddles and will walk for hours (that'll be the spangle in her then!) Maybe in an ideal world you wouldn't class her as the 'sharpest tool in the box' :rolleyes: but just makes her all the more loving to everyone she meets!

Based in Cornwall but owners would be prepared to travel within reason.

Really hoping the trusty HHO residents will be able to help me out here - i don't want her to end up just anywhere. She's just too sweet and whoever meets her will instantly fall in love with her!

Thanks :)

F - To be perfectly honest i didn't ask :confused: They have a beagle who loves their other dog (JRT) but will pick on Bella sometimes - i'm guessing this is the reason.

zandp - Yes, she's fine. Both my friends work full time and long hours (One a Farmer & the other self-employed florist) so she is used to spending time away from humans. Not sure she's ever been left on her own, always in the company of the other two, or at least one, of the dogs.

She sounds almost perfect. Can you be totally honest and give an idea of her not so good points? Do you have any pics? When you say "size of a spaniel" are we talking cocker or springer. Is she vaccinated? Is there any reason for her not being spayed? Is she destructive or a barker/yapper?

ok, here goes!

I have never seen her growl, raise a lip to another dog or the young, hyper, children in the family. IMO, her only bad points are her recall isn't great and she's overweight BUT obviously neither are her fault!

I don't have any pics but if anyone is interested i will put you in contact with the current owners and they will sort out pics.

I would say she's the height of a small Springer (or a large cocker?!:rolleyes:)

Vaccs, not sure will have to double check but knowing them, yes, she most probably is up to date. No reason for not being spayed, as far as i am aware.

I've never known her to bark/yap, no.

She's a really lovely bitch :D and i would take her myself but i have too many on my hands now! :cool:

I now can't take a second dog guys:( due to one or two unexpected things that I won't go into here - hope she finds a great home though:)

Hi, is this dog still looking for a home? Is she ok with other bitches? Could you pm the owners details please to get some piccies? Thanks

Yes - she's still looking for a loving new owner. PM me your number and i will pass to them tonight for you.

She's fine with other bitches, currently living with a bitch and a dog. Where abouts are you in the country?! (PM that too if you'd rather)

Thank you :)

It's ok, I'm fine - it's nothing too drastic, but it just wouldn't be very responsible of me to take on another animal right now.:)

Spoke to OH about her last night, we lost our dog just before NYE. He isn't totally sure about getting another dog yet so I don't think it's fair to think about taking her on, looks like I'll have to work on him some more. Really hope she finds somewhere.

Ah such a shame - but thank you very much for thinking of her. She will go to a lovely home, i will make sure of it :) Even if she has to come to me in the interim and she can hoon with my gaggle and i might even work on her recall :rolleyes: (oh how i love making work for myself!!)
