Is that all dogs - big, small, pedigree, mongrel - or just the sort you have? Do you ONLY like your particular dog? Do you love your dogs and horses equally?

Just wondering as I had a Patti for 14 years, from when she was 18 months old, and although I really, really loved her, found it difficult to get gooey over any others, except similar types and even then, not all of them

I also love/loved my horse more

but obviously stood by little Patti till she died, and miss her terribly. Just not as much as the little pony we had and lost.

I don't know why and am a bit ashamed about it. Probably why I don't venture in here much.

A friend has a whippet who I like more than I have liked any dog ('cept Pats) in ages. He ia lovely, polite and unassuming gentleman. In fact I automatically gravitate towards well-mannered dogs.

I love my doggy more than I think anything else in the world. She's my baby.

BUT the horses arent mine, they're my boyfriends, so I'm less attached to them I think!

Nothing to feel guilty about though xxxxx

I'm very selective.

My dog is clearly the best

and I do have a soft spot for terriers, but the YOs terriers do my head in

I don't mind the OHs Pointer but shes too bouncy and out of control and it pisses me off...

So I like looking at other dogs, ie I love seeing everyones photos, but I dont like putting up with other peoples, unless they're real characters.

A bit like horses, I can't be doing with random ones

I Love Love Love my Lab, Scubs! I've had him for about 10 years (I 18 so hes been there since I can remember almost) and he's perfect, except his lack of recall

but I don't care

I couldn't get another dog after him, or atleast not for a few years

I like all animals but I wouldn't get all gooey etc, its more Scubs I love than the dog

I've had 2 horses whilst I've had Scubs and he always comes first

I don't own a horse but I have both dogs and cats and I love all differently.

I do like most dogs, regardless of breed, some breeds I almost love, some I do love the looks of, but it does not mean I want to own one. About the dogs I've owned myself, then as an example, I have owned one Smooth Collie, Raya, I loved her but didn't feel that Smooth Collie was my sort of breed so I would not buy a new Smooth Collie but to me that does not mean I loved Raya less than my Finnish Lapphunds, that I intend to own more of in the future, I just loved her differently, just as I love all my dogs and cats differently.

But only because I like most dogs, it doesn't mean I like every dog I meet.

Nope definitely not all dogs for me, and I am an obssessive dog lover

I am really not a spaniel or a terrier fan personally, but then I cannot understand why everyone doesnt have a greyhound because for me they are the perfect breed which fits my lifestyle completely

I love my dogs and my horse equally

I love almost all dogs really, but I've had Leah since I was nine so obviously she is incredibly special to me. I am more attached to her than to Scooby because I've only had Scoob on loan for a few months, so Leah's been around a lot longer!

As above really, love all dogs but mine are different. My dogs are my little mates and come everywhere with me. I am obsessed with walking them and do love them more than my horse - she's lovely but not affectionate at all
