Dog Needing A Home

I know of a lovely little red King Charles Spaniel bitch needing a home. She’s 3, not yet spayed (booked in for September). Elderly owner very unwell and unlikely to come out of hospital.

I’ve only met her once, but she was delightful. She’s an ex breeding bitch (last litter in January). She’s 80% house trained, very friendly (but a tad nervous).

Based in Ceredigion West Wales.

Does Doo get on better with boys? Honestly, if I were retired now, I think I’d be driving down, although I swore I’d never have bitches. Very very tempting, tho, a little red spaniel. There’s a little red one in the park, really pretty.

I know someone local to me who has King Charleses, I'll ask her if she's looking for another, though she might think it's too far to travel.

King Charles or Cavalier KCS ? Maybe try a breed rescue, though I suspect they are all full to overflowing ?

Sadly, she doesn't think she should take on the dog, she has had a small stroke and is feeling her age a bit. Sorry it's not better news.

Saving Cavaliers UK on fb may be a way to go. They are great at rehoming or placing in foster. We have a cavalier bitch but sadly she prefers boys too.

What a sweetie, she looks like a Cavalier not a King Charles, maybe make sure that people know that as I think some may be put off as KC are more brachy.

She’s excellent with other dogs. No idea about children as she won’t have met them (but she is shy). I don’t think money is wanted for her. Just a good, kind home.
