I do not own a onesie, however, it had crossed my mind a dog one may contain some mud after walks!?

Wouldnt be sure if to use one ON walks or just when they finish a walk, pop one on to save the mud pasting my car and then the house!?

Do you use one?! or is this a bad idea? :D

if good idea - links please?! all i can find is dinosaur ones on fancy dress and my well 'ard spaniel would look like a right idiot in one of those.....!!! :D

You used to be able to get a sort of absorbent bag thing to zip your muddy wet dog into, I don't know what they were called. My dog would be disgusted by the very idea! :D

Link to an ultra warm onesie that I couldn't find a photo of http://www.originalpooch.co.uk/dobaz-collar-ultra-warm-dog-onesie-grey.html

These ones are intended as pyjamas onesies http://www.dogs-togs.com/#/shop/4566237587/Pistachio-Pyjama-Onesie/4587691

Hurtta have this waterproof fleece overall, which is supposed to be suitable e.g. "for car trips following training sessions" http://www.hurttacollection.com/en/outdoors-en/products/warm-clothing/waterproof-fleece-overall/

They also have an outdoor overall that protects against water, dirt and mud, and I must admit that I really like the name Slush combat suit! http://www.hurttacollection.com/en/outdoors-en/products/rain-clothing/slush-combat-suit/

I use the Equafleece jumpers, they are fantastic, do the job and wash really well and keep their shape.

I do have a Thermatex dog bag, however they have to be in it quite a while for it to completely dry them off and they don't come out as clean!

Another vote here for Equafleece. They look great, lovely quality, wash really well, and my dogs have never got too hot in them. Worked much better than the usual vet "lampshade" for stopping scratching when my dog had stitches in her side too!

We use equafleece too. They are waterproof to an extent too, so we pop them on for last minute short walks before bed to keep them dry, or use them to whick water off them when they are wet. We bought the fluro ones as we use them in the dark most!
