Dog pain killer tablets not used

Hello my dog recently had ACL surgery and I have an array of unused painkillers as everything made her tummy upset they are still in their packaging … would a rescue take them ? It feels a waste to throw them out
Any ideas welcome thank you !

It's worth asking any rescue's local to you, and you could also ask your vets whether they could recommend a charity.

Having a quick google came up with this organisation that will take pet drugs to send across the world to where they are needed (I don't know anything about them, but it looks like there is lots of info on the website):

The boxes are open but tablets still in their packaging

My small animal vets have a return system for anything still in sealed pots or in the foil, provided they are safe drugs, worth asking?
Some are able to be used for local UK rescue. Others are disposed of safely.

I had a lot of heart tablets left when I lost a dog to heart failure a couple of years ago 4 different types of tablet and a month's worth of each .The vet took them back (no refund) but said they would use them to treat animals they treated on rescues.

My vets used to take back meds offered to them and if they knew people who were struggling would offer to them.
