Hey guys


i have noticed a couple of times that eddie has been pooing but its coming out in like a bag of slime :confused: any ideas.

quick recap eddie was diagnosied with lung cancer last week he has just finished a course of antibiotics and is on 2 steroids a day.
he is 13 1/2 jack russel cross. he is eating like a savage at the moe but i think that is a side effect of the steroids.

Any help would be amazing

Hi im not an expert on dogs but mine have had this at times, usually only last a few days and then is back to normal, I dont know if its just when they are a bit off colour,but are all fit and well now.
 
Oh poor boy, I can only say what I would do in the circumstances is book him into the vets first thing tomorrow. It may well be its the steroids etc causing this but I would be worrying about him dropping condition.
I would also be giving him some cooked chicken & rice to try and settle his tummy, but if this continues through today I would also be giving the vet a ring even if its to put your own mind at rest.

Hope he picks up quickly and starts to enjoy life again.
 
thank you everyone i rang the vet this morning and he thinks it could be just a little bug. i am going to let him take it easy today and see how he gets on. i do have some chicken in the fridge so maybe i could do it with some rice and what cook it in some stock?

If Its an Oxo cube it has salt in it and I wouldnt want to be giving him any salt, check the ingredients first. Dont worry if you dont cook it in stock.
