Dog poo - what is it actually meant to look like?

I was just wondering this because I am volunteering at a Kennels and Cattery 2 days a week and have seen lots of different types of poo and have to say whether it was normal or not when walking the dogs but all dogs have their own normal so it's hard to know what the 'average' is if you get me? I have noticed that the nastier coloured ones are fed on food like Bakers etc so it clearly shows that food contributes (obviously :p). I know it's a weird question but what should a 'good' poo be like in colour etc?

My dog's poo varies because he has stomach issues so it's hard to tell from him what is good, even though I know what his 'good' is. So yeah, what do you guys think is right?
 
I don't know what the official description of a good poo is, but I was always told that you should be able to to 'trip over it, not slip in it'! :D ie it should be firm, solid and fairly dry, rather than soft or sloppy.
 
If mine have had bones the night before, their poos are small, hard, almost powderey when broken, and they dry white ( parmesan cheese dog poo!).
If it's a normal raw food day, they are a bit larger, dark and a bit softer.

Haha EK that made me laugh :D It's interesting seeing lots of different dog poo after just having the one dog and getting used to his 'normal'. Was at the kennels today and I did am now starting to see more similarities in food brand and poo colour :P You know you need to get out more when a dog does a poo and you smile because it looks like a face :o;):D
