Dog Pregnacy Symptoms

My bitch as mated on 27/11 and 29/11 so now should be nearly 3 weeks, I cant say I have noticed any of the well known signs, she eats erratically any way, still a runs like mad on a walk, her teats could be a little swollen but not really sure.

Is it too early to tell, should I just be more patient ?

I would say it is too early. Some bitches do show behavioural changes almost straight away, but most of my bitches have kept me guessing up to at least 5 weeks, longer in the pre scan days.

Thanks for that info, it's what I wanted to hear! There seems to be conflicting oppinions as to whether or not to scan, will hang on a bit longer and try to be more patient.

I found it quite useful to scan, apart from the fact you know for sure to prepare whelping box etc on one occasion my bitch whelped 4 and appeared to finish, quite settled with her pups. However scan had showed at least 6 so I got the vet to check, and lo and behold after a quick oxytocin jab the other 2 appeared.
