Dog Rocks????

Has anyone used these?? I saw them in Pets@Home yesterday. They are literally these rock things that you are meant to put into their water to stop them killing the grass on your lawn when they wee.....
Does anyone know if they really work? My OH is most upset that our grass is dying - willing to try anything that might help him stop moaning.......

Hi yes i use them and they do work but it does take a few weeks to work... when they are in the water you just top the water up daily...i have 2 weimaraners and are grass was dead but not any more
 
Cool! That's amazing! I'll go and get them later. The OH will be pleased!! I thought they would be a waste of money so i refused to buy them last night - until i had asked on here!
 
Or a tip that I saw whilst watching This Morning (dont laugh my daughter was ill so I was bored!) is to add a dessert spoonful of tomato ketchup into their feed and that stops the grass turning brown as well..........!
