Dog rug sizes?

I have searched Google but not come up with anything - where do you measure a dog for a rug? I want to order one for my 11 week old JRT as he gets SO cold out on walks (puts all his energy into bouncing up and down and not enough into keeping warm!) but I can't figure out which size?!

think you measure from the base of their neck to the base of their tail - will have a look at my dog rug if you want

Yep, back of the neck to the base of the tail.

Check out the website for Waggers they have some nice dog coats and other treats!

yes just checked - twas right - ive remembered something - wohoooo.

ive got a orican dog rug from WB and it says for a JRT the size should be 12-14" - probably bit big for a 11wk old jrt but gives you an idea.
My collie wouldnt let us measure her so took pot luck

I've got a fleece and a mini-weatherbeeta for my Yorkie. I got them from ebay. The fleece is especially brilliant. I even have to put it on for calls of nature when it's raining outside as he is such a wimp!!!
