Dog safe pond plants

My latest project is building a pond - does anyone know dog safe pond plants I can add when ready? Conflicting advice online.

Pond won’t be easily accessible to dogs, but that doesn’t mean it will be spitz proof so need safe plants.

Not much help I'm afraid, but have just read about a floating plant raft. A box of any material that floats - wood, polystyrene....Punch holes in the base to allow water through fill with aquatic compost and plants. Tie it to a cord and anchor it to the bottom of the pond. If the pond is big enough (and the dog isn't in the pond!) it should keep plants out of reach. Plus it provides a stop off point for pond life.
