I know, it shouldn't be about just the colour....

BUT, I can't decide if the ideal dog comes along in 2 colours - black or brindle which one to go for?!
So,
Black
or
Brindle??
What would you pick if you have the choice.

hmm...are you planning to walk them in the dark at all?! If so go with black not brindle as brindles are impossible to see in the dark and trip you over constantly! :p :D

What type are you after? I know a lot of smoothies that are black and brindle- the greyhound/whippet influence - and there is black brindle, blue brindle or red brindle. Black is black and there are a lot on the show scene at the moment. I've got a blue brindle smoothie and shes a doll. :)

I'd have a brindle, but thats only because I've got two black ones which are impossible to tell apart already :D:D:D

You do realise of course that you will probably end up with something completely different.... I wanted a blue or black and ended up with a white spotty thing :D

Funny. We faced the exact same question when looking for a Boston terrier. In the end we went with black & white, though she's strictly "seal", which I believe is a greyhound colour as well.

Can't go wrong with either colour, I reckon, and as someone else said, brindle does a nice job of hiding the mud.

I dont like brindles so would say black. But is is so personal. I guess you just shouldnt limit your choice by coloiur if it doesnt matter.
