Wouldn't normally post something like this here but am getting slightly worried by lack of time! All my dog-sitting options have fallen through for the week from this friday to next, short of driving him to some friends in dorset - a long way! Can any of you help? He's a small elderly (but with extremely good bladder, copes fine with being left 8.30 to 5.30!) dog (without appendages), thinks exercise is a dirty word, not great with cats (if they run he'll chase), barks if someone knocks but otherwise very quiet.

Desperate I know, just hoping someone might have a brainwave!

He'd be welcome here (although would have to clear it with OH first), if he is ok with other dogs, but I don't suppose it would be any easier getting him to Shropshire than to Devon! Does he not cope in kennels? I assume you're on hols for that week?
