Dog stolen from Bath Cats and Dog home

Sadly they had 3 lurchers and a terrier stolen a year ago as well. I believe they found one lurcher after a few months, the terrier turned up in Bristol Dogs Home having spent a few months there and I heard that another of the lurchers had a speed trial 2 days after it was stolen and was then shipped to Ireland.

A lurcher was stolen from another rescue earlier this year (that one is on the Its Been Nicked website) and a rescue not far from me was having trouble with the wrong sort of people taking an interest in their lurchers, so much so that I understand they resorted to letting one of their 'hard to home' big guard types roam at night!

Unfortunately dog napping is alive and well and this just goes to show it can happen to anyone, although I would have thought Bath would have upped their security after last year's break in.
