I'm after a towelling robe/bag for the creatures. I can't find a previous thread I remember on here, s can anyone recommend one that perhaps velcroes shut around the belly so they're totally enclosed?

I am interested in these for my spangles but think the big boy would panic and freak out, does anyone have any experience of using these and how the dog's react to them. :o

Hi

This lady on facebook does made to measure coats (and beds) of all descriptions including towling 'robes'

I have two coats for Suzy (not toweling) as she does feel the cold - one just a fleece lined blanket, the other is a waterproof fleece lined wax coat (Millie also has an unlined waxed one for when its throwing it down and i dont want smelly wet dog in the house!) They're a good price too, think Suzy's were about £18 each (dont quote me on that though!)

Loving the purple one! Need! Exactly what I want! Thanks!

My friend who has a working Springer uses these at the end of a shoot or after a long walk, he does wriggle in it but I think that is the general idea as it helps dry and clean them.

You would have to supervise your dog when first using them and obviously never leave your dog alone in one.

Our smaller lab really winges at being cold and damp once back in the house. We were thinking of something like this, but we ended up using my stepson's old pony club sweatshirts that he'd outgrown - we cut the arms down a bit so they reach his "fetlocks". They dry him really well and seem to be comfy for him.

Am thrilled! Exactly what I wanted! I tried it on him, fabulous! He won't sit still for a picture so after he's been out, I'll do one. Thanks for the recommendation.

Think I'll get one for the others too, wanted to see how it looked before I got three.

May I present Bear cub in his 'robe'!

Am most happy and the boy didn't mind having it on, quite used to being wrapped in towels! Bless!

Brilliant! So glad you ordered from that lady, she's lovely, makes so many different kinds of coats, beds, car boot liners.

He looks so cute in it!!

'Tresemme' boy as the OH calls him, as he likes nothing better than having a nice swim in a massive disused trough in the woods, then ploughing through as many muddy puddles as possible, flicking his hair as he goes! He's now on her FB page and there'll be a row of three on there as soon as she makes me more!

I looked at all the other stuff and quite fancy one of the massive waterproof beds :o The boots are both lined with plastic tailored shells, thank God.

Numptynoelle, you mad thing! Put the heating on, have a hot bath! Bet you have a onesie, too!

The waterproof beds are fab, I dont have one but think the photos include one with a Great Dane, that's the dog club leaders, she thinks they're great!

Haha! saw this on facebook and 'liked' straight away! they look fab, so glad they've all got one now so there's no jealousy - thinking about getting my pair one each now - particularly as Suzy has a real interest in rolling in fox poo at the moment, and then rubbing it all over Millie too equalling lots of baths and soggy dogs!

Awww look at the boys! :D

Again, I find myself in similar attire :o (However, I can categorically state I do not own a onesie...:p)

I was in similar earlier when I left the hot tub :p

I remember you threatening to crawl past the wine bottles on the windowsill to get to teeny puppies: little demons are nearly two now. :)
