Dog "walker"

A local well advertised dogwalker this afternoon. Lets dog out of van, throws a ball once, then is on his phone for 25 mins stood in the same place, dog is desperately waiting for ball to be thrown again totally ignored . Dog put back in van . If I was paying for this I would be absolutely livid, in fact I was really annoyed for the dogs owner. Its not the dog mans dog I do know.

Agree, I wouldn't be at all happy paying for that "service"!

I think it is high time that dog walking was regulated by an independent body.

Absolutely this! There was one local to us would go round pick the dogs up in a van and park up in the car park of the country park and read a book, the poor dogs never even got out of the van. A friend saw this happen a few times and created a fake Facebook profile to post in the local dog owner sites what he was doing.

It will soon be regulated under licensing law, it is very much on DEFRA's radar.

I can't remember if it was someone on here but they were a dog walker and were really put out that the owners wanted a tracking collar put on the dog when they took it out.
