Dog walking and socialisation Group

Further to my doggy daycare thread-seeing as I don't particularly need daycare, I am going to try and set up an informal group based around the science park that I work at. It also includes the Dick Vet and is in a lovely country park so there should be some takers. Although walking with other people isn't my ideal I can (hopefully) manage to be sociable a couple of times a week

I'm not sure if my institute's IT terms will allow me to advertise so will have to come up with some fliers and a FB group. Will let you know how I get on-back to work tomorrow :'(

Good idea - and good luck. Hopefully there will a few takers and other dogs and owners will also benefit from the idea. If I were closer I would be happy to meet up occasionally in that kind of informal setting (so long as dogs were all friendly and non aggressive).

Have you thought about using Meetup to advertise? Not sure if it costs, but am aware of some dog walking groups in my area that advertise on it. https://www.meetup.com/

that is nice out there - there are pet facebook groups that you could maybe advertise on. Failing that, my hubby works in the same science park, I should send the dogs to work with him lol

its a nice enough spot to get out at lunchtime in as I'm not selling anything, I think IT will give me a pass on this one.

I was using a local (to home) FB group but it seems to have been taken over by spammers. Also, this time of year its dark and its a bit difficult to meet up with people during the day.
