I need advice from those already doing this. Am thinking of starting a dog walking/sitting business. I have plenty of experience and qualifications, just need to know the business/legal side of things really.

Anyone currently doing this?

Iam a house sitter, mainly for equestrian families. All you need is a police check and referances and I have liability insurance. Eg if i loose their house keys, insurance will change locks, or if their horse has a nasty accident or causes an accident they can claim off me, but they have to prove Iam negligent, say if there horse got kicked in the field they cant claim, but if I put it in wrong field with wrong horse then my fault, like if I left a broom in the stable and it got injured.
Most of my work is repeat bussiness and word of mouth, although I have advertised. I did join an agency called Animal Angels but havnt really had any work through them, I was also going to work for Animal Aunts but they are very very expensive and I live in the north of England and know one within a 50mile radius of me would or could afford their prices.
