Do you think dogs should always be walked every day?

My OH has a staffi and despite there being 4 people living in the house who are capable of walking him he does not get taken out every day, i for one think this is a little mean! He has the run of a large garden but even still.

Yes, they should be walked every day. Mine thrive on routine... plus for their health and wellbeing/socialisation they should be exercised, even if it is only a few short walks. Good luck with convincing the family. Maybe go into partnership with a neighbour who is willing, ie they take your dog for walks one day, you take theirs with yours the next.

I walk my Beastie everyday. She gets longer walks at weekends.

I know a couple that own 3 dogs. The woman owns a pug and the man owns 2 huskies. They don't walk each others dogs! To me that is v.weird. She is currently ill following serious surgery and yet her OH still won't walk the pug so I've been walking her yet he walks his 2 each day. And it's not that he couldn't handle all 3 as the huskies are walked on one of those joint leads and the pug walks to heel.

I walk mine properly for an hour twice a day and during the day he's potters about on the marina and play with workmate's dog all day!.... No wonder he's currently "dead" on my sofa!
