We have a nine year old beagle bitch who we rescued at 6 weeks of age from the hunt kennels as she was going to be shot as she was too short at the shoulder to run with the pack. She is in good health (apart from being a bit on the porky side) but every time we put her Masta dog 'rug' on to go outside for a walk she walks diagonally sidewards for the first few feet. She never does this without the rug on and she does it whatever rug we put on her. Has anyone else out there got a dog that does this? It is absolutely hilarious to watch and we can't figure out why she does it. Incidently she only ever goes from left to right (the rug fastens under her belly on the near side) and she never falls over although ocassionally she will run gently into things (sidewards). Why does she do this?
