Dog water sports?

I'd really like to get into competitive water retrieval with my dog, but I'm really struggling to find any information online regarding how to go about it, organisations, competitions, ect.

Was just wondering if there's anyone on here that either does this or knows who I might be able to contact to get started? Complete dog sport virgin so a water retrieval for dummies sort of place might be the best

Goes without saying that the dog can swim beautifully and loves the water.

Are you in the UK or elsewhere? Also, what breed dog do you have? Am aware that the Newfoundland guys train for the retrieval of humans out of water. Could be worth contacting the breed club. Otherwise am only aware of field trials and sadly not all require a water retrieve any longer.

It’s not really a thing yet in the uk if you mean Dock diving (rather than gundog trials).
