Dog won't walk with dog walker

I am incredibly lucky that my neighbour doubles as my dog walker and walks my 4 dogs Monday to Friday. She's a lovely lady and never hard on them - if anything she's a little soft.
She's been walking them for over a year now and the dogs know her well and all 4 greet her enthusiastically.
On occasions though she has text to say one of my dogs has refused to go for a walk.
He's a 10yr old whippet and in excellent health. He's a fair weather creature though so I've not been unduly fussed.
Today however I was at home when she came and I witnessed first hand what he did .
At first he wouldn't leave his bed and then when he did he stood on the doorstep. I watched her have to walk back up the garden to put him on the lead in order for him to go.
He has honestly never done this with me. He usually bounces around at the door to see if ill tale him with me regardless of weather.
She walks him in same location as me and takes him with the same dog as I do (they're walked in pairs). I'm as sure as I can be that she is lovely to them and my pointer who is incredibly precious loves going with her.
Any ideas?
I have the dog walker to improve their days so he's starting to worry me.
 
We stopped using a dog walker. Mines a whippet and loves his walks. He went with the walker quite happily but then used to be anxious and on edge afterwards, I'd get in and he'd be all over the place. My other dog was fine and the walker wasnt doing anything wrong. Hes just a mummys boy and I think it freaked him out a bit someone coming into the house and taking him out when we werent there.

Might not be the same with yours, but they are sensitive little dogs. Hope you get to the bottom of it!
 
I have someone that pops in during the day to let the boys out. Funnily, they have to be called downstairs for them to be let out - they don't come down when they hear the front door! Rotten guard dogs. Yet, when I get home, they are always bouncing on the doorstep.

They do like her - even Bertie who can be shy with strangers was going up to her after about 5 mins for a stroke, which is why I chose her.

Aren't dogs weird?!
 
I wouldn't overly worry. My shepherds adore their walks but will often refuse to go with anyone except me - even my hubby who they love. Perhaps just have your walker let this particular dog out to the toilet in the garden but not walk him.
 
Does she take them at different times of the day? We have a (just turned) 9 year old whippet and she can be a bit funny with her walks. On a normal day, she's taken for a walk after work (in summer) or on lunch (in winter), at the weekend she normally goes out lunchtime/afternoon. Very rarely in the morning.

Our young whippet is car sick so sometimes if we go out for a day out we take them for a morning walk so he can get rid of some energy and he'll sleep in the car. When we take her at this time of day she refuses to walk, she'll happily come with us on the lead but when we let her off in the field she wants to turn around and go home, so we have to lead her again. Once we've got so far into the walk she'll carry on her walk as normal.

It's very odd and there's nothing wrong with her and only happens rarely but sometimes it's like she doesn't quite fancy it thank you very much! The youngster doesn't care and carries on as normal.

ETA: Whippets are sensitive souls. Perhaps yours only wants to walk with you :D

He really is a funny little dog. I walked him this morning and he raced me to the door and did loop the loop down the garden. In the rain!!

I think if anything he actually goes on better walks with her as I'm usually pressed for time before work whereas she tends to go further.

Thank you for putting my mind at rest though. It's so tough having to trust someone else with them so I'm probably over analysing him.
 
It was the go further part that drew my attention. My Stafford boy started to refuse to go for walks with my dog walker, whereas the girls would be besides themselves. He would come out with me but then I found he was becoming arthritic in his elbows and an hour walk hurt. With me he knew it would be 40 minutes in the morning so would come. I would just check. The only signs something was going on was the refusal to go out with lovely DW.

My collie is the same! Won't go with anyone other than me! She gets excited at the prospect and then refuses to go. On the odd occasion they get out of the garden she will turn and run home after a few minutes.
She will also only come with me on foot. I can't ride a bike or horse.
