What do you do when you go on holiday with your dog? We are going next week and I'm thinking of thing to do, so far my list consists of...

a) go for a walk
b) eat some food
c) go for another walk
d) have a rest then go for a walk...

Does anyone have any ideas to make hols a bit more interesting? (not that walks are boring, but you can overdo it, I'm sure!!!)

Take them to the beach, they love that! Pheobe used to just love going for long walks in different places, as long as refreshments we available along the way

Just explore as many new places as poss - dogs really won't get bored of that.

there's loads of country shows and village fetes at the minute. Why not google some of those and have a look for a dog show or something horsey to walk round.

We go away almost every weekend with our dog, and she is more than happy spending her days thus:

Long walk on the beach/in the woods, depending on the locale/time of year.
Breakfast for me and hubby while she chews on her bone.
Drive to a quaint town, walk around antique shops etc. Most places here allow your dogs to go inside, and mine is a sucker for belly rubs/attention.
Take dog back to house for a kip.
At sunset, back to the beach/woods for another long walk.
End up at restaurant with outdoor seating, so dog can come with.
