Doggy day care/ walking- advice please

Can anyone please help me? Some friends of a friends were looking for a pet sitter and my friend knew I was interested I this line of work so passed our details along. I met them and the dog is lovely and everything went well. The dog is coming for a trial and if all goes well I will have to sort out insurance which I have a quote from our broker for. However they asked about charges and I had no idea, I have had a look at prices in the area and they range from £12 -£25 per day. I would be inclined to charge towards the higher end as it will be 1 one to one and in an ideal country location with lots of walks and direct access to the beach. Does it sound too much? They might also want me to have her for an hour or two sometimes, I was thinking of charging £5 an hour or maybe £10 for the first hour and then £5 an hour thereafter? to give an idea a place quite near me charged £10 for 1 hour then £17 for 2 hours, after that it went to the full day charge of £25? Any advice would be very gratefully received

You might also need to be licenced from your local council. Worth a call to check. £12 an hour to walk a dog, £17 a day and £22 for 24 hour stay. I suppose it depends where you live. These prices are average for Suffolk.

I'm in leeds and I pay my dog walker £8.50 for an hours walk twice a week, for this he gets picked up, driven to the next house and walked with two other dogs. It would be more if I wanted him walked by himself.

I pay £15 for an overnight stay with a different lady who boards dogs in her wn house. For this he gets at least one really decent 2 hour + walk a day, human and doggy company and free rein round her (smallish) garden. He always returns happy and shattered, albeit very pleased to see me. She walks up to 8 dogs at a time (leeds council only allows four dogs to one professional walker so she gets her auntie to help out so she can do more) and he loves running round in the 'wolfpack' she takes them for rural walks and all the dogs are off lead. I met her out walking 8 when I was walking him the other day and he went nuts and loved it lol
