Poppy my lurcher gets Poppy Doodle, Doodlebug, Doodles and Bug

Flodden my bedlington, gets Floddy, Flods

Bosworth, my departed boy, gets Boz, Bozzy, Boz rat, Boz rat McRat, and Rats

What is rally funny is that they know and respond to all permutations of their names

Together they are Batman and Robin on account of Milos big ears and Mitch being his sidekick or The Boys or Double trouble.

Yesterday they were a pair of Ba*****ds because they chewed the settee arm off my cane conservatory furniture!!
 
My dogs names get lengthened rather than shortened when they're bad, a bit like my mum did when I was little

So Liz becomes Elizabeth Lemonson
Alf is Spiny Alf
Dillon is never bad so he's my Colliewobble
Pie is Weaselshmeasel or That Bloody Stinking Gypsy Dog!
Jesse is just Jesse but screamed really loud :)

Daisy, my Bichon Frise gets 'Crazy Daisy', 'Fluff' 'Fluffle' 'Puff' 'Puff & Stuff' and my other half calls her 'Shnookhams.. lol.

When I was at home our Bichon called Tilly was 'Tilly -Puff', 'Tilly Lilly' 'Tilly Con Carni'
Rocky the chihuahua x Bichon (Tilly's son) is 'Rocky-bear' 'Rockster' or as my dad likes to call him 'little winkle' lol.

You did well! Bär isn't too difficult to work out.

We decided on a name that the locals could get their names around, as a lot of people had problems pronouncing Tugg. Takk and Yugg are two examples which spring to mind! :eek::eek:

So when we decided to have Benny:eek::rolleyes:, as he's officially known, we decided on Bear, as it's also got alot to do with his colour - grizzly, as shown on his Czech export pedigree. This little lad has done some travelling in his short life........but that's another story! :cool::D

My Irish Setter, Twiglet is Twiglet Wigglet the Little Red Piglet and Barney (Golden Retriever) is Barnacle or Security Barn - he's always on watch:D
 
Zak is known as 'pussy cat' or just 'the cat' because of his penchant for pouncing on his toys.

Brig is Brown Bear, Briggy pants, Briglamo. And the 'big dog'.

Bear is Bear-cub or Snuggler.

Ollie, is also known as Ollie ***. Not my idea I hasten to add. Also any rude word that blurts out when he bites one of us.

The *** is a word that rhymes with dog..

All of the expletives used above after a fox roll incident like this morning!

Collectively they are "the Divs"

Starring, Big Div, Little Div and Tiny Div.

Oh and too many to mention otherwise e.g one dog Maggie aka:. Magpie, Magpants, Maganinnie, Magnadoodle, Maggiewiggle, Mag,Mags, Stinky, slimylittlewodgit, Baggie, mummy dog and WHATs THAT SMELL!!?
 
Lola used to be called Lolly and Lols, used to answer to them all :D

Poppy - Pops, Popsy, Idiot.

Roxy - Rox.

Elsie - Els, Elz, Els Schmels.

Because Poppy and Roxy are always together we end up shouting 'Pops, Rox' to recall them. Unfortunately they both seem to think this is their name now and both actually answer to either Poppy or Roxy!
 
Daisy - Dinks, Dinky, Stinky, StinkyDinks, StinkyDinky, DaisyDoo and (sometimes, only when she's very good) Bubs

Fred - Freddie, Ferdinand, FredBear, Bear, Little Man, Fred-o

Did change both their names though (they were both rescues) . . . Daisy was originally called Lovely (does suit her) and Fred (my little jetblack ninja assassin dog) was originally called Damian . . . didn't think it suited him at the time - now I'm not so sure ;).

Hollie gets Hollie-bean, Hollie-dog, princess, and more regularly these days "you little sod" and "stop that right now"
 
My dog, Zico, gets 'puppy' a lot - despite the fact she is 5!
'Chubbs' is often used - she's not at all chubby!

She's named after a friends band so she gets the whole 'Zico Chain' too at times! :D
 
Bonnie is now nearly always reffered to as Bog :o All because I got my words mixed up and instead of saying bonnie dog it came out as donnie bog!! So she is now the bog dog!!

Her daughter christened Tilly became know as The Tig cause tiggers bounce!!

When Bonnie had her pups we christened them pickle and podge! We kept podge and it was a while before she became Tilly!!
