Doggy room updates

Not great (cos the light is crap) but somthing, and lets face it, I have been meaning to do it for about 2 months:o:p

So it is a big brick outbuilding, I need to take some pics of the front, it's rather nice from the outside looks like a little annex or something.

Its covered in ply board, paving stone floor, broken window/crap old delapitated door.
The aim is to make it washable, clean and bright for the dogs in the winter, cos we only have 10 indoor kennels for the younger more hardy dogs for winter so this is for the older/less hardy dogs that need more heat:) or broken greyhounds for confinement (as will be putting 3 walk in kennels) in for this purpose. This would be done now if my back had not broke and of course loads of time:o

At present it's used for storage, for crates, food, bedding, news paper, all that stuff and preparing dogs meals.

So I will keep u updated, still lots to do and will get this done before winter between everyhting else, but again huge thanks as the hoody funds helped towards this (certainly paid) for the cladding.:)
 
Looks massive, poor random slave having to clad all that :D How many dogs will you be able to house in there once it's all done?
 
Its going to be great, do you let the random slave out occasionally or is he locked in there till its finished?:p
I was thinking again about trying to set up a 100 club draw to bring in some more regular money, I will try and find out some more details if I can.
I'm also going to have a push next month to get votes for Evie for the calendar (someone must love her :() and then hopefully the same people will buy a calendar if her pictures in it. ;)
 
Actually Cayla never mind hiring him out, just send your random slave down here and I will keep him safe for you :D I so miss having a man to do all the rubbish jobs around the place :rolleyes:

Or I could offer you three greyhounds (only partially broken!) to test the new facilities out when they are ready? :p

I will vote for Evie next month MM, I would love more of mine on the calendar but we need to maximise the interest levels and amazingly not everyone likes greyhounds :eek: I can put a link on FB too :)

Oh and the dog room is going to be cool Cayla :D

It is massive, as pou can see throught the door to another room, they are both of equal size, one room will be for dogs that can be left and mix, so dog beds/we are thinking raised platforms alonf back wall with bed for them to crash out on and probably a sette for the greyhounds:rolleyes:

The other room with have 3 walk in kennels, I will link a picci of the kennel doors Im in the process of ordering.
Then we are going to do a built in section with smaller crate/kennels for the titchies, so probably about 10 dogs in one room and maybe 5 in the larger room for free mixing.

And yeah..........random slave is taken home with me, cos there are dishes to do, dogs to feed, a house to clean:D

Im really chuffed (as is mam) she was rather reluctant when I was explaining what I wanted to do, but now she is rather excited:)
I would definately hire the salve out, could raise some funds that way;)
