Dogs allegedly beaten at UK day care

This is in my village. Local uproar is an understatement! My own dog went there for a while, and seemed to enjoy it, although we now think his issues with anyone in reflective clothing may have stemmed from here, as every time I remember seeing her dad at the centre he had a reflective on...

Dog day care is a licensable activity governed under the Animal Welfare Act 2018 (Licensing of Animal Activities). The local authority can prosecute if unlicensed or revoke licence if the premise does hold a licence.

Sadly the public are only too willing to dump their dogs in cheap (£15.00 is cheap) unregulated businesses and until they stop and think this situation will reoccur on a regular basis.

I swear if I had seen my dog being treated like that, no surgeon in the land would be able to retrieve the mop from where I would have rammed it. Actually it wouldn't have to even be my dog.

So many dogs at an alleged £15 a day, how can he get a license for that? If I went to drop my dog off at daycare and I saw that many loose dogs I would turn round and leave.

I really don't understand why people get into jobs like this if they clearly have no love or compassion for it. Yes it makes good money but if you are going to behave like this you clearly are not a happy person so why bother...id rather have happiness over money anyway.
