Okay, we have Three Appletrees in my garden (hence why I live at appletree cottages) but the dogs mainly Dylan and Teal are on a mission to eat all the apples.

If that wasnt enough I caught Dylan just now jumping up and helping him self to an apple!!!

I thought the core/seeds were poisionous, I am trying to clear the apples that fall, and we are gonna cut back the branches that are low enough for the blasted puppy to get to. But im getting worried at how much they are eating. Their poo's have got a bit soft to what they are normally.

Any ideas or just keep doing what im doing?

Let them get on with it??

And how poisionious are they I have never heard a dog be really ill from apples, I cant be the only person with an appletree or two int he garden.

We very nearly lost Bear because she ate too many apples over a period of time - she was in the vets for over a week. Apples were picked up off the floor several tmes a day and the branches were tied up to stop it happening again.

dear lord ... I always eat the core/pips et all! Always!

My lab loves apples too and i'm constantly telling her 'Keeeensaaaaa Nooooooo" Much to her disgust!

Our old Labrador was frequently found climbing the apple trees to get to the fruit - she made it to 15 so i wouldn't worry too much:D:D:D

In fact all our dogs have nicked fruit of all kinds at any opportunity - it is what they would do in the wild as they are just scavenging easy food:)
