The family basset hound, Breezer, is now 10years old which apparently OAP for a basset. She was on meds from the vets, Loxicam (sp?) which has now run out apparently and she's having another trip to the vets.
Basically I was wondering what Loxicam is? Is it the same thing as Metcam? And is it cheaper to buy these meds of the internet to help parents save some money? From what I can gather online it's a prescription only medication so they would still need to get a prescription from the vets which I assume they charge for? Would it be cheaper for them to pay for the prescription from the vets and then get the meds online?
It's a shame they didn't get the meds sorted before they run out really - the old gal is in pain today.
