Dogs and bird flu

With the number of cases now so high and (apparently) in some areas dead birds lying in rivers and so on has anyone heard of any dogs actually catching it?
Speaking as someone who’s dogs would definitely either retrieve, eat or roll in the carcass.

They are all disinfecting like mad and people aren’t going with dogs to more than one shoot.

Shooting should stop. I am shocked that it hasn't been stopped already.

Our Council (and indeed neighbouring ones) have issued notices about keeping dogs away from all dead birds on beaches.
