Dogs and horse poo

Mine likes to clean up after I've cleaned my lads bits aswell!! So don't feel to bad shysmum.

She doesn't eat pooh, but loves to roll in it, when it's cold and your locked outside (not that she ever is, it's her way of thinking!!) waiting till the cow's pooh to then roll in is a brill way to get nice and warm!! Lovely aren't they?!!

My dog doesn't eat horse poo (as far as I know, I have never caught her eating it.....!!) but she does love to roll in what I can only guess is fox poo, it has a very distinctive odour and I smells awful.... we have had to wash her several times before letting her back in the car... but she does keep a rat vigil up the farm and so far has managed to kill 4 rats... yay tip of the iceberg though I fear.....

Our dogs (Golden Retrievers) only eat horse poo if they think no-one is looking, but do love to roll in unspeakable things. Out on a walk once I couldn't stop them diving head first into a pile of pig poo someone had kindly dumped by the side of the road. The smell took weeks to get rid of.

My daughter's dog eats dog poo too and likes to catch it before it even hits the ground, yuk! How could a dog called Fifi do that?

But the funniest was when my non-animal owning and rather squeamish brother popped in to check on the dogs when we were out for the day. He was on the phone to me when one of the cats came in and had a runny 'accident' at his feet, I could hear him retching over that, but when a dog came and licked it up it pushed him over the edge! Funnily enough he never offered to dog sit again!

Filthy beasts, why do we love 'em?
