He used to. This was at our old house, an old yew tree that blackbirds nested in. He was after the baby birds, the bugger..! He used to scrabble himself up using the ivy and rough bark wedge himself between the big branches - just before this film he was actually right up at the top and had got himself back down from there. He was probably about a year old in the film, I don't think he could get up a tree these days!
